Once-great SSD manufacturer OCZ filing for bankruptcy | Ars Technica

I think they stagnated and then started to get too comfortable with their position. Rather than trying for the high end enthusiast market, they tried to play hardball with Samsung and Crucial, and cut their quality to the bone. It came back to bite them in the ass and now they're lying in their graves that they made for themselves.

I still have a PC running OCZ memory sticks. They used to be a really good manufacturer. Sad to see. You'll be missed, OCZ!

I really liked their DVD drives. They were stupidly cheap for how durable they were.
