Nothing new for Phantasy Star. Miku and lots of other anime-type characters had outfits and skins in Phantasy Star Portable, PSP2 and I think Sands of Destruction got worked into Phantasy Star Zero on the DS (via MAGs).

Xenosaga might be doubtful since Namco-Bandai and Monolith Soft maintain a strong respect for each other even though Monolith Soft is with Nintendo now. The only appearances Xenosaga characters have had in a game since that series were other games made by Monolith Soft:

Namco X Capcom
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier
Project X Zone.

In each case, whether under Namco or Nintendo, Monolith was involved.

I don't really care for the anime references that much, but the lack of creativity in the player wearing them around lets me know what their priorities are. Too often, its just people assing around.

In any event, the lounge is my favorite place to hang out. Only if they would expand the "entertainment" line. Oh, and apparently Miku is the "IDOL" in the PSO 2 universe. She may perform "live" in some future special events on the ship ... there's actually a stage area and balconies overlooking it.
