The best OS:
Mac interface,
Windows software completely compatible (yay for .exe and not using w(h)ine)
Unix/Linux kernel for that'll make more possible for programmers, and more free (or even add suported) software.

We've had 2 out of 3 for most of this decade. Parallels works for #3, but not well enough for everything.
Even when it was the Public Beta draining the batteries on my G3 Powerbook (Pismo) in sleep mode like nobody's business, I dropped booting MacOS 9 like a hot potato. Once I got a non-laptop that could run it, I dropped the Linux PC too.
