You know why? Because people clean and use disinfectants on toilets. If people did that more often in other highly used areas, say around a family computer, you know what might happen ...

The keyboard, monitor, and mouse get a thorough cleaning every week or so. I like to keep the desk clean, since it's in an open room, and not in my own bedroom, so it'd be kind of embarassing if it was dirty since it's high-traffic.
