nice upgrade on the pc, but you could have installed a little more ram and a little better video card, but its more than i have atm.
Im glad to see messy pc desk is something many of us have in common. the next time someone says something to me about my desk ill show them this thread. the only reason mines not any worse than it is atm is i just rearranged it after moving into new house. i would add a picture, but cant find my camera. i know its buried under one of these piles.
lets see whats here: 2 modems one hooked up other is spare. router that is both wired and wireless, speaker system, telephone, my flight stick and throttle, phone book, manual for bigscreen tv, motherboard manual, semi empty wing box (several months old im sure),flashlight, candle, headset, tube of blistex, cough drops, couple of notebooks and pens, various envelopes with bills paid and unpaid, empty popcorn bags, old lottery tickets, a stack of unemployment check stibs, my 1 and only drink glass, a G-15 and a razer keyboard , 2 razer mice and my 27" monitor for my gaming pc and a 19" for my web surfing and backup pc.

You havn't seen my work desk, now thats not very tidy!, drawings and notes, sketches and files strewn about, and under the desk and to the right etc. etc. My desk here at home can;t get too messy or I'll have the wrath of her in doors complaining she can't use it properly and all my stuff goes in the bin unless its "tidied", she gives up on the drawers that are full of the stuff from the desk dumped in them, at least its out of sight.

As for my upgrade minimee, its all i could afford, I managed to knock novatech down £90, basically as I knew more than them and told them how miuch they buy it in for and how much i was willing to pay, they have had a slow month so got a bargin

as for whats in and around my home desk, well i have a few draings and sketches from doing some overtime work, PS2, a few games, my laptop, a box of 3.5" floppy disks I have never used in teh 6 years I've had them, even more so now i don't have a floppy drive in this system. I have my 5.1 surround system, printer. On a shelf abopve (where the wire on teh right was going up) I have my ADSL modem/router, my PSone, VHS video player, season 5 BTVS VHS boxset ( I was watching an episode earlier) massive colins dictionary and Theasaurus (in shrinkwrap) couple of game guides, then to my side I have Cd bag with MP3 music disks, bits of paperwork and bank statements, solitary cross head screw driver, and a screw I have no idea what it came from.

I busted out laughing at this! I recently bought a new cellphone, a new camera, and an ebook and all of the empty boxes are stacked on my desk and have been there for months. Balfree, you and I have serious issues. I think we need DDA (Dirty Desks Anonymous)!

Ya my work desk is perfect but this is my desk in my bedroom. After the game room was converted into a bedroom for the grandkids, I had to stuff all of my crap into that one little area. There was no way in hell it was going to be neat. LOL

The desk I'm sitting at currently has my monitor, a webcam, my computer speakers, keyboard, mouse, mousepad, modem, router, some weird paper stacking... thing to my left, with lots of paper on it, including the quote for the computer that I purchased today.

There's also a bottle of hand sanitizer for no apparent reason, a can of Pepsi, 3 pennies, a dime, a nickel, some nail clippers, a digital paperweight clock, my PsP case, and 3 computer games. It's actually fairly neat.

B&Q, err dunno what it was called, just looked at a roll, thought, yeah that will work in an office/computer room / study / emergency bedroom and bought enough for the room with a bit extra for patching up etc. was a bugger to put on though, it is quite thick.

No tissues, just a random thing of hand sanitizer. Probably from when I was sick, I used it so I wouldn't spread it to my brother, who also uses this computer.

Their no point, a keyboard is dirtier than a toilet and full of germs, better still if your i'll your brother can;t use the comp unless he wants it = more time for you

Well actually, he's been nice enough to let me use it for the past year, my new computer gets here next week. I guess I do hog the computer considering it's his. Also: Lysol works wonders if you unload an entire can on your keyboard. Well, not a whole can, but some. I also forgot to mention that there's a TV to my right.
