      I'm certified in MSWord and need to keep my knowledge up, so I'd be on the opposite spectrum of wanting this.

          Or just using a command line app, if you must use a computer.

          The point is, it's silly enough as a program, but TO PAY FOR IT is fucking silly.

            I'm a hell of a lot faster with a keyboard than I am with a pencil and paper. Plus I never look at Arial and think "Is that supposed to be a Q or a B? WTF does this say?"

            I like the idea behind it, but there's no way I'd pay for this when it's easy to get the same effect for free.

            I bet I know a guy who'd buy it, though.

              It's cute, and I'm sure there's going to be a niche of writers out there who would like using it

                    If it had a LaTeX editor in it, it would be useful. It doesn't so it's not.

                    However $24 is a lot cheaper then $400+ for Office, and NeoOffice can have some problems that the target audience for this wouldn't want to deal with.

                      Wow, people will waste their money on anything these days! They make it sound so good, it's a shame people are too stupid to realize they're getting ripped off.

                            Seriously, there are a number of less expensive (than $400) alternatives that would still do more than this.

                            Honestly, when I saw the screenshots I thought it was just some sort of web based program, or freeware, or something. But $25? Ridiculous.
