What web browser do you use...

...and more importantly, why?

Personally, I use firefox. It's not the fastest, most secure, most standards compliant, or any of that, but the amount of plugins available is amazing. And not just things that make the browser do things that browsers aren't meant to do; things that modify the UI significantly, such as Tab Mix Plus, one of my favorite extensions.

I honestly don't think I could survive wootoffs without Reload Every, and tab behavior is one of those nitpicks that just gets to me.

Opera, because it works out of the box like I want it to. Mouse gestures, reloading tabs, all these things I have to burn time to get in Firefox.

Firefox. I like ad block. Even though some websites still require IE, I still use it 99% of the time.

At home, for most of my daily browsing, Konqueror, because of Split View.

At home, for anything requiring Flash, or my credit union, etc., Swiftweasel, because it works.

At work, Firefox, because of noscript and adblock plus.

Yep, ditto that. I have Firefox, Opera, and IE and use all 3. I don't give a rat's a** about the big "OMGZ if you use IE you are DOOOOOOMED!!1!!" attitude of late because I've not had a single issue in years.

Opera because it functions as well/better than Netscape 8.1.2 before they decide to it went down the toliet with 9. Mozilla Firefox for anything Opera can't render or isn't compadible with it. Still, I loved the earlier versions of Netscape, espically back when OS/2 was used and you had Communicator for the browser, editor and mail clinet. /sigh, those were the days.

Netscape hasn't been a decent browser since version 4, and even those were hit and miss between releases. The last solid Netscape release was Navigator 3 Gold.
