Ok, I got windows xp, reinstalled today yay! The only bad thing is, now I have to reinstall FFXI and it sucks! Oh well, I am sure the game will run alot smoother sense I dont have Vista on my PC anymore. I got a question though, do I have to remake my character tho? Sense I reinstalled XP?

No your character is linked to your content ID's all you will have to do is rewrite all your macros. You can officially log into someones PS2, Pc or Xbox360 with your content ID and play your character on them.

Oh well I got 80% more to install yay! only took a hour to install POL,FFXI,Tetra Master, RoTZ,CoP, and ToA. Only 5 mins to update POL.Server: Garuda

I think that's your Send:Recieve. If you're using the windower or fraps you might be able to turn your frames per second on which will tell you if the game is running any smoother.Originally posted by Shoopi View PostComment

and that shouldn't have anything to do with XP or Vista. That's about what you're doing at the time. I've pushed it up over 4000 by making trains years ago, before Vista was even announced, so it's got nothing to do with it.Comment

XP is for people who are comfortable with conformity. Be a real man and use Vista, deal with the problems like the rest of us. Then get frustrated and just reinstall it, only to have more problems.

I don't mind Vista, honestly. But I think it's a problem if you have to "learn how to deal with your computer's issues" as opposed to having everything work the way you want to when you want it.

Why? You don't expect every car you get into to handle the same. Hell, I had to learn an entirely new method of putting the vehicle in Drive just to switch from the driver's ed car to my truck. Different systems are going to be different, that isn't a bad thing, it's just a fact.
