Be sure to set the keyboard map to the Dvorak layout.

actually, I tried that. Doesn't work very well on the G15-- you can move around most of the keys just fine, but the F and J key have special notches, so if you want to have them in Dvorak they need to be put in upside, which looks (and feels) stupid. And Dvorak is honestly not THAT much better, considering that anyone that ever uses another computer is going to have to switch back to QWERTY eventually and that's just going to compromise their speed on both.

To be fair, if you can learn the positions without reading them off the keys, pretty much all modern systems can change the keyboard mapping in software to match Dvorak, but I was really more suggesting that a GNU/Linux system with a totally blank keyboard that produced characters in an unfamiliar layout would be even more of a nightmare.

What if you have a labtop? With really small keys, that a vac cant get into? Then how do you clean it??

Generally laptop keys come off too. You should check your manufacturer's site and google, they generally have maintenance/repair manuals, although (no offense) they might be a bit over your skills. If it's getting in the way of typing, or looks very bad, and you can't fix it yourself, your local PC shop will probably do it for you, although it could be very expensive.
