    Amberly: and why the fuck should I waste time hoping some tech out there will actually have a clue what the fuck he's doing when I could better spend that time looking for an ISP that doesn't suck anyway?

      Easy fucking tiger. I'm trying to help but if you dont want it then go look for another ISP. IDC and also dont give a fuck so get of my back for trying to help.

          yet again, and i dont deny it, our techs suck balls. about that whole sitting outside issue...ya thats bs but i am telling you, we are not all assholes. if you have a problem with your internet, your more than welcome to email me at thecomcastguy@yahoo.com and id love to look into it for you and email you back about what you should do.

            =P This is why we're not supposed to represent Comcast on Forums =P I also work for Comcast. Things are actually pretty awesome in my area... working on getting 16MB connection very shortly. I had some connection problems, so I scheduled a tech and the guy came out, ran a dedicated line to my modem from outside and my connection has been perfect since.

            Also, from what I've heard so far, AP is full of it. Trust the sources you want of course, but any idiot can start a rumor mill and point their finger at someone else. The bigger the target, the less effort it takes them to point a finger... Also... in my expirence Comcast has the greenest grass around, you can check some other companies... but pound for pound comcast seems the best.

                        I'm definatly Pro-Comcast... I believe they are the best connection around, seeing as I've been a comcast customer all my life and things have always been fantastic.

                        Like Amberly said, signal issues DO happen.. just like with DSL, just like with Satelite TV... just like with FIOS... Moral of the story is, Do what you want, trust who you want, use what you want. In the end, you may land on your feet, or you may fall back down the hill...

                            Shit happens guys. Dosn't matter who you are or who you work for. People say "Why is my internet out, it was working yesterday! You guys suck! I work online and you need to fix this shit!" Well I had a great drive to work yesterday but today I got a flat tire! Shit happens. Get over it. Comcast has FREE 24/7 call center support when microsoft can charge you $34 an hour to help. Comcast has FREE trouble calls when sat and dsl can charge you for a problem the is thier fault. And most of all, WE HAVE NO CONTRCTS! So if you dont like us, quit crying and change services. We stay in business b/c we know our service is (for the most part) reliable and worth the price. If not, we wouldnt have any customers. We dont feel the need to FORCE someone to stay will us.
