Vent question

Greetings,

Im pretty new to vent, in the sense that Ive joined channels but never created one. I know many people pay for channels that allow many others to log in, does Vent offer any free hosting, for small groups of say 5 people etc? How would one go about hosting a channel anyway?

Generally they're not free. However, there are places that host for really cheap. I had a 10-man Ventrilo server at ugt-servers dot com, and it ran like...$2.90/month. You could always try there. You'll probably need a Paypal account if you don't already have one.
