Question about Logitech cordless Rumblepad 2 and FFXI

I have been trying to get a controller to work on my pc to play FFXI for windows and the controller I bought was recommend off the playonline website for controllers to use which is a logitech cordless rumblepad 2 it works on the pc testing area in the control panel but not on the game can anyone please tell me how to get it to work in the game? are there configurations that I have to set for the controller? if where do I go to set them? and what are they? do I have to set settings? and if I do where? and what are they? please help I love the game and we do have it for both the ps2 and windows but we would like to play the game together and the controls for the pc are just a big pain

In all seriousness, not trying to be a jerk :p

1) all caps in titles dont do anything other than annoy.

2) wall -o- text posts arent fun to read either.

That said, there is a control pad configuration in your FFXI Config utility. Go to START > Programs > Playonline > FFXI > FFXI Config

This is where you set all your button and joy stick assignments.

sorry about the caps but i was trying to draw attention to my question not annoy anyone I have posted the very same question on numberous fourms, and numberous questions sites,been to numberous stores,bought numberouse controllers,made numberous phone calls to numberous companies about controllers to work for the pc for final fantasy and no one knew what i was talking about and Ive been doing this for days and hrs so all I have to say is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...sorry but it gets my graitude across

On a related note, if you go into the Playonline Config, you can set it up so you can navigate within POL using your joystick as well.
