My new PC should be ready to day. After more RMAs than I care to count, more waiting, and giving up and taking it to a shop (not my first choice, but then I'm not paying for it) today, after half a year of waiting, I should have my new computer.


Wish me luck, because if it DOESN'T work, I'm going to flip out and kill someone. Probably Sev.

Ya she already used me for 6 hours of farming blue spells, tho I did enjoy it other then all the other blues forgetting to heal me after back to back stun/shadow wipes. Aye I broke club btw Lilith! Damn Db claimed 2 fafs in a row oh well e hands onry.

Ya, I'd say I can shuffle around times on the weekend, but I have to work this Saturday and have something going on the Saturday after.

It would also help if you didn't have to run off to Dynamis on Sundays too.

... is it an e-machines by any chance?

Oh and if that PC was made mostly in Taiwan ... mostly ... I think I'd be more worried about other things than it arriving DOA on your doorsteps...

It's custom, the first few sets of RMAs I got were DOA, I've had awful luck with it really. Also had a digital camera give out before it had even taken three pictures.

I have way too much pride to ever own an emachines. I'd sooner buy a $70 iMac on cl than run one of them.

Oh goodie ... I was worried there for a second. Thank you for dispelling my concerns.

On a side note, most PC parts have been pooping out and RMAs have been at a record high. I blame a lack of quality control and things made in even more impoverished countries (Like Bangladesh, India and Thailand) The lack of skilled labor and manual dexterity has me worried. They may soon make nVidia chipsets in New Guinea and Intel Dual Cores in Madagascar.

The thing that pisses me off about it most is that the stuff that's DOA (motherboard, CPU, and graphics card) is the most expensive and most important stuff too. I could live if the hard drive was dead, even if I couldn't RMA it it would be cheap to replace, but 300$ parts not so much.

On the bright side, C2D + 8800GTS should be awesome.
