  • Annoying image problem (probably firefox 2.0)

It seems like every broken image link is now giving me some annoying picture of a timelapse highway at night, instead of the standard "broken image". Wouldn't be a big deal, except that this image is stretching out tables, which really screws up forums.

I figure this is a problem with Firefox 2.0's defaults or something, but google results aren't really helpful.

Haven't gotten what your talking about as of yet. But as of Wensday my FF 2.0 has been running kinda slower then normal. Usually pages boot right up, but they are draging along, i actually had to switch back over to I.E7...

Mine does that too. I have only seen it on my work comp. I will try it on my home pc this weekend when I get back in town.
        Thanks Kazuki.

I'll take a snapshot of it next time I see it, but it's not going to help

I've been having an occasional problem where images simply refuse to load at all in firefox, instead just leaving the filename. This problem doesn't manifest itself in the linux version of the program. Something's up with gecko's handling of images.
