Anyway, I have no freaking clue, like I said, it's been in the shops for months. I haven't even seen it.

There's five stickers:

- "BUILT TO LAST." (The one with the machine specs [oddly it doesn't tell you the graphics card though.. It does on the other sticker, but still doesn't let you know it's 128mb] and lady person)

- The 'service and support' sticker with all their bullcrap about phone support and stuff.

- "Designed for Windows XP / Windows Vista Capable"

- And the only two I'd keep if I was gonna bother taking any off, the AMD/ATI stickers

Either way stickers are fun.

Sorry to hear about your laptop being MIA for so long, if I were you I would of already burnt their building down.

Mine is an Acer travelmate something something, it overheats like a hyped monkey, i leave it on for days and days, my room starts warming up and i get the ice bag in the freezer and it solves the problem.

I can keep mine on all night, on my bed, blanket blocking the vent and it still doesn't overheat... Gets really hot, but doesn't overheat.


But I believe that has to do with it SUCKING, and not taking much juice to power it.

However, the power block's so hot I almost just burnt myself when I went to move it


I hate how companies put the minimum requirements for games so low, yet you still need 3x what they put for it to run it in the max, or even medium settings.

It's Windows I tell you, I hate it so much. I wish FFXI would run on Ubuntu, but no Linux for FFXI, so I gotta save up for a 360 now too.

I'm about to rob a damn bank.

Eh, doesn't matter since I only use the desktop anyway, and I have a gateway if I *MUST* have a laptop.


it's a few years old anyway... As in, "command and conquer lags on it" years old.

The college that I work at in the eveings gives the students a laptop as part of their package. It is so low grade that my PDA has more RAM and higher storage then it. They get a DELL latitude d505 my Zire 72 with the add on storage pack beats the hell out them and is a quarter the size. The only thing that would make it better is if I could play FFXI on it.

Because Linux takes know how and any dummy can turn on and run Windows. Not saying every one using Widows is dumb just that its a lot easier then Linux.

All computer brands score up and down on the quality list depending on what model they are. But sadly DELL has become a byword for bad customer service, poor quality hardware, and increasingly proprietary peripherals.
