I've started using amaroK as my primary audio player, but I've recently noticed that I am unable to play audio CDs from it. The "Play Audio CD" option is grayed out, and I have no idea whats causing it. For now, I've tried using other audio players(like XMMS) but those also have a problem of suddenly restarting playback in the middle of a track. Xine is the only player I'm not having problems with.
Has anyone had any similar problems? I'm starting to think it might be a problem with the CD drive itself, but none of these problems manifest themselves in Windows.
(Nevermind: The backend I was using did not support Audio CD playback, an issue fixed in version 1.4)
