FFXI Freezing up on me - A lil' Help

I'm running FFXI on my Laptop atm (Dell 9300), the problem I have is that because it's hard to find older mobile drivers, the one I'm currently using from dell causes me to lag sometimes beause of AOE/Brd spells. Now that isn't that that much of a issue for me but every once in a while, at least once a day, my FFXI will just lock up, and I have to forece restart Windows.

Does anyone know if this is happening because of the driver? Or is my video card over heating. I don't think it's my video, because I play games like BF2 for hours and never have a problem.

You should be able to use the drivers from the NVidia site here:

http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

See if the driver install for the 7800 Go works for you - NVidia is usually good about backward-compatible drivers.
