Delayed Program?

Hello guys

I was trying to run Guilty Gear on my laptop and I noticed that everything seems to run fine until I get to the vs mode. It seems that when I'm about to fight my friend the game freezes for like 20-45 seconds and then resumes.

Can anyone tell me why?

Your running it on a laptop.
More resources from your computer are accessed during 'vs' mode than with normal.
Try going to Task Manager and shutting down everything that isn't Guilty Gear and Explorer.
If that doesn't work, try turning the ingame graphiocs settings down during 'vs' play.
If that doesn't work, upgrade your laptop, if possible.

Also, download the latest DirectX version and update your Graphics Drivers.
And, if you have something better than a generic soundcard, update your Sound card drivers, also.
And, you might wanna check the refresh rate of your monitor screen. Higher refresh rate, the better.
