Insane Quad SLI Power

I dunno whether this has been mentioned yet. I did a quick search, but turned up nothing.

I was wanderring around the net and found this:

NVIDIA and Dell Bring Quad SLI Power to Life. Yes you read that right.

NVIDIA is introducing a new video card with TWO 7800 GTX 512 GPUs on it with two PCBs. Oh, and these new cards will sport 1 GB of total memory as well.

...you'll notice there are two physical PCBs on this one, dual slot video card. Each PCB sports a single 7800 GTX 512 GPU and 512 MB of GDDR3 memory.

I looked at the pictures and was like "Dayuuuuuuuuuum." Now, I love FFXI as much as the next Tarutaru. But, I gotta say quad SLI is a bit much for FFXI or almost anything else except 3dmark05/06 (those benchmarks are murder on my PC). And these things sell for $816+!!

This is bit old news but, aye it is one mean machine. Probably the best mainstream gfx-card ever produced.

One thing to remeber, this will produce _insane_ amount of heat. YOU DON'T NEED TO WARM YOUR HOUSE WITH OIL ANYMORE.
