I was wondering if it was possible to save streaming videos.

but I can't ; ;

Something like wget might be able to save it. Or turning your browser options to such that it ask what to do when it tries to open the stream.

saving a streaming video file onto the local drive usually requires 2 steps;

1. figure out the "real" location of the file, in this case w/ the .wmv extension - apps like URL Snooper can help u find that out
2. use the "downloader" that's capable of downloading the streaming files over the stream protocol, such as mms


due to the legal issue, this is as much as i can talk here; in most cases streaming videos r only licensed for streaming distribution by the copyright holders.
