Radeon 9800 PRO for FFXI

I just recently purchased a Radeon 9800 PRO but each time I run FFXI the colors are all riggid and eventually my computer crashes. The problem starts when at the POL login screen.

Is there anyone who experienced this problem and can give me advice on how to configure it correctly? I'm stumped. lol

have you tryed to update your video drivers??? they look out of date

i have the Radeon 9600 XT and the video in the game is good

also, if updating the video driver doesn't solve the problem, try the same for ur sound card (SB Audigy). SB line of sound cards r known to have conflict issues w/ various hardwares/softwares under some circumstances, and unfortunately ffxi is reported to be one of them.

i use the 9800pro... works great for me...

probley just have to update your drivers...
