question about graphics cards and FFXI

i have an unsupported card now and i am getting a supported one soon. my question is will the game run on the unsupported card untill i get the new one??

There's no way of knowing from the info you provided. Can you give us details about the unsupportted card?

Vague answer is: It may or it may not... If it meets the minimum requirements for ffxi, then it should.

its a Nvida Quardro4 750 XGL with 128mb. my comp meets the minimum requirements. if i do run it with the unsupported graphics card will it look like crap or just not run as smoothly??

I can't personally say about that card, but 640x480 should work ok.

ok thanks. ill probably be geting the card before i get the game anyways but i wanted to make sure that if i do get the game i can play it.

that card will do just fine, its just not in anyway a gaming card, so u might have to tweak drivers for optimal performance
