Screen/Text Lag with 6600GT 128mb DDR3 Video Card.

I was wondering if anyone knew about this issue. I've updated my drivers for my MSI NX6600GT video card. Since I've gotten this card, the games seems to just run very sluggish. I've tried the latest nvidia drivers. I've removed and reinstalled the game, the drivers, not sure what else i can do.

The game ran better at 1024x768 on a Geforce 4 TI4200 64mb card then it runs on this new one. ? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Same Issue was discussed on this thread I believe. It was mentioned that nvidia drivers past 61.77 don't run FFXI properly. Neways check it out

I replied on the other thread. Basically you should try giving the newer drivers (66.93 and/or 71.84 [released in march]) a shot. But, make sure you get the ones from your card manufacturer over the ones direct from nvidia.
