getting a new PC. And was wondering should I go for the Athlon64 3800+ oe IntelP4 3.4GHz. Which one will play my games the best such as FFXI and Half Life2

both will do fine. it really all comes down to video card and ram. for the video cards i like the ati radeon series. and the ram i would guess at least 512.

im probably gunna get 1 gb of corsair ram, and an Nvidia Geforce 6800ultra 256mb
