Migration Woes
this sucks..my computer messed up nearly a month ago...and my vga card got screwed up as well. (Displayed artifacts and couldn't log into winxp)...
so I RMA it.....2 weeks past....I go to playonline.com..and then it says WORLD MIGRATION!...what i have been looking for..for the past YEAR!!...
but...my main card (MSI TI4600 ) has already been shipped to MSI to be rma'ed and I have a very old backup pci vga card that cant run 3D games.
So I think...b/c i really want to migrate to the new server, but I cannot log into FFXI to apply!
SO last week (like 9 days ago), i decide to go on ebay to buy a video card...another ti 4600..something cheap (it was around 60bucks)....so im excited b/c im thinking it will arrive before sunday...(b/c it was shipped on monday...i was thinking it would arrive around thursday ..or friday..)
/sigh 6 days past, tracking has not been updated since the 28th (4 days ago).....migration is tomorrow....
my MSI RMA card..after 3 weeks of repair....was shipped last night..a great way to waste 60 bucks....i wont be migrating..
the world likes to screw me over...and now i have to stay on alexander...the place with the most gil farmers....and...and..I dont want to say any more.....
