Hacking not allowed - disable windows key

I'm a hacker! What is hacking? hacking is hacking out your own circuit board and soldering components to it by either your design or following one. hacking is also a term for taking something with software code and changing it to what you want it to do. if you do a really good change or modification, this was called a good hack. so when i change a registry key which windows does not have a fancy applet and i have to do it by hand, it's a hack! i use gpl software for my website engine and when i want to change it, i hack it to suit my needs.

if you think hacking is wrong, then you need to look up the word cracking. i'm so tired of all these people using the wrong word to push their views to the people who now think hacking is evil and they think cracking has something to do with eggs and can't be even considered bad...

Most "hackers" people refer to now are nothing but script kiddies. Anyone can run a program that does it for them. I bet most of them have never really hacked anything and never even heard of terms like phreaking.

As far as really hackers go there are good and bad hackers like you said. Most you hear about are bad hackers, both in practice and in what they do. A good hacker normally does it for information and will be able to get into a system, get what they want and get out without anyone noticing they were ever there, they won't do anything malicious.

Best hack I heard about a guy ended up in prison for about 6 months for. He denied internet access to a whole country for around 18 months using a DOS attack on their only ISP. Not a good thing to do but pretty funny.

White hat hackers-good
Black hat hacker-bad

White hats use their skills to try and hack past a websites security and then point out/and or/ fix the flaws it, black hat hackers..doing anything mischevious to you or any person's computer they can get into
