How do you get Duel Monitor.

if you have a video card with a dvi and d-sub connection, you can either hook up an lcd and a crt (or two lcd panles), or you can buy a dvi to d-sub converter to have two crt monitors... then if you do, just go to properties, and set it up for two monitors (really easy to set up roughly, may be tricky to fine tune with some cards/ settings)

if you mean two clones of the same image, i believe it would if your card supports two monitors, but if you mean extended desktop, i am not entirely sure. unless you have played games in extended desktop, i just suggest you use a single screen here (you don't want to make everyone look like they weigh 500 pounds right?

i'm pretty sure there is a config option to change the relativity of the characters and background to your monitor size, or somehing like it

you are probably thinking of just adjustig the resolution, which makes characters larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the number of pixils rendered.... THIS DOES NOT DEPEND ON SCREEN SIZE, ONLY RESOLUTION.... there is no option that supports dual monitor (extended desktop) for ffxi unless it has been put in a recient patch....
