Would my comp run FFXI well on lowest settings

P4 1.5 GHz processor
WXP OS
256 mb of ram
Ati Radeon 9200 128mb Vcard
40 gb hd

the reason im asking this is because i look at the problems that people have with the game and have come to the conclusion that the recommended stats on the Play Online site arent a good benchmark(speaking of which i cant run the benchmark it because i dont get the game and gcard till 2morrow)

It'll run fine. Mine worked very well at 800x600 with moderate settings on the following comp:

AMD 750 mhz
512mb PC133 ram
GeForce2 Ti450, slightly overclocked

I also ran the game at 1024x768 for a few days before my new comp parts showed up, so I never got a good idea of how it ran with it. It may slow down a lot during weather effects, so you may want to turn them off. But your comp should play the game pretty well.
