My friend had windows xp home ed., today he tried upgrading to windows xp pro. He selected "update from an older version of windows" which when I installed from home ed selected aswell and it worked fine. But for him, it was working fine till it said itll now restart the computer. It restarts and start checking files (or whatever, cant remember what he said), then a message comes up saying: Please Insert the Compact Disk Labled VIA AGP Filter Driver Disk into your CD ROM Drive (E
Then Click OK.
He doesnt have a disk that is labled that, and I never got that error when installed (maybe because i dont have an AGP slot?).
Is there anything he can do?
