weird noises

uhh, I know this sounds kinda stupid, but I'm pretty stumped. my computer keeps making these weird growling/howling noises.
I have 4 fans in my computer, 1 for the processor, for the motherboard, the powersupply, and the videocard. so I check them all out and they all SEEM to be fine. nothing jammed, no circits burned, no nothing.
the sound used to stop when I smacked the top of my computer, but it just gets worse if I do that now.
can anyone help me out?
I've only been having this problem recently btw, and I've had my computer for a bit.

Might want to get some case fans. Also might want to get a new PC.

It sounds like the fans are burning out.

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
