how can u tell if ur sound card is compatible with Dx8.1/9.0b

Check card specifications and it should say. If it doesn't, go to Start -> Run type in: "dxdiag" w/o the quotes. Go to the sound tab, and run the test. That should tell you ^^ If that doesn't work, go to the manufacturers website and look for your card.
