Comp specs - Comments? Improvements?

I'm gonna be getting a new computer some time next year. I was wondering what I could improve on. I'm building it from here, a Canadian site. I think it'll be cheaper than getting the American equivalent.

Motherboard: Asus A7N8X Deluxe

Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2800+ (Barton)

Memory 1 & 2: Crucial 512M DDR400

Floppy: Samsung 1.44" BK

Optical drive: Sony 52x24x52x Black CD-RW

HDD1: Western Digital 36GB/SATA 8M/10,000 RPM/ATA 8M

HDD2: Maxtor 120GB/ATA 133/8M/7200 RPM

Video Card: ATI Radion 9800 Pro All-In-Wonder (Original)

Sound Card: Creative Labs Audigy Gamer

Case: Thermaltake X3-VM3000A

LAN Card will be onboard.

The Canadian price is $1679, which is gonna even out to ~$1280 USD. Suggestions and improvements welcome.

That seems a bit expensive for what you're getting. I went through a friend when I just rebuilt my machine with slightly better specs (Intel 3.0) and it ended up being ~$950. However I know the place he got his parts from and they aren't much different in price from, say, Newegg.com.

Also, that's the case I have. It's definately worth ~$100.

Improvements, though? It looks like a pretty decent gaming machine. It'll definately run everything out on the market along with everything coming out in the next year.

www.ncix.com try here too they usually have good prices and it's canadian as well i'm guessing you canadian since your ordering from a canadian site, but if your not ncix doesn't ship outside of canada ;/
