  • GeForce 4 mx 440 Problem

This isn't really ffxi related but i was wondering if anyone knew how to disable what it is in prince of persia that makes my graphics card unsupported. I know the game uses it and all but at most times not all the time it is really laggy even when not fighting. Is there somthing I can do to lessen this lag. When I raise the settings to max or to the lowest it stays the same. I've played pretty far into it, the lag doesn't prevent me from playing but it does get annoying at times. I just want someone to help smooth out some of the graphics card related lag any help is appreciated.

well considering the MX isn't a very good card to begin with that might be your problem, but whats your processor speed and ram? those may be the problem as well.

well it's not your processor...my guess is it's a mix of your ram and the card. The MX cards aren't really good :/ you could try to update your drivers though, that might help

Drivers are fully up to date and its not ram becuase when im not looking at the big special effects giangantic open area I dont Lag at all. and it doesnt change no matter what my graphics are set to. Sometimes I get this white fuzz over the picture when I start the game. I'm kinda looking for a way to tun the special effects from low to none becuase that is the problem. I'm pretty sure.

well theres either something wrong with the card (maybe it over heated or something?) or it's the fact that the MX cards are just low quality, but either then that i can't help you, sorry
