External Hard Drive Help!

I was wondering that if I was able to get an external hard drive and I installed FFXI on it and took it to my grand parents house, would I be able to hook it up with a USB 2.0 and play it from here? The reason I ask this is because I'm here right now and I don't get to go home till much later and it is quite a bore. Anyway, what size of HDD should I get to be able to have all I need? I was thinking 80.0GB might be a bit much. And does anybody know a site where I can order them from? Also, how would I go about getting the game onto my new HDD? Just copy and paste the files? You'd copy the entire playonline directory.
Copying some registry information might also help.

Unless you buy a specifcally external hard drive, which is probably expensive, you'd have to buy some kind of external kit/casing. These exist, look around on pricewatch.com or such. As far as 80 gig being too much, good luck getting a hard drive that is less than 40 gig these days (if even that small.)

A more important question might be:

Do your grandparents have a computer with the CPU, Memory and a new enough 3d graphics card to play FFXI?

An even better question might be:

Do your parents or grandparents want you off in some computer room playing FFXI while at your grandparents house, while obviously you are supposed to be interacting with them? You might go to a lot of trouble and find out that you are not supposed to do this anyway.

The best question might be:

Do you like your grandparents? My grandparents are all dead, my parents are now dead as well. When I look back on the years before my parents died, I find myself regretting the endless hours I spent in Everquest. I don't find myself regretting anytime I spent with my parents.
