Serious Problem With My Internet!! Please Help!!

    yea well it doesnt just happen to 56k modems. I have 256k and the same thing has happened to me. My whole network connections folder is just blank. When i tryed my wifi it doesnt work any more im geussing its some thing to do with ffxi or windows update :mad: .
    ~yes but what happens if I run out of ideas I mean if no one can help me and i run out of ideas then what ?~

      Its not ffxi, I have yet to install it, must be something to do with windows

        at least i'm 90% sure it happened when u installed FFXI. I've tested TWICE and each time after i installed FFXI, my network connection becomes blank.

        However, after i reinstall my driver (without reinstalling FFXI), it's working and still working.

        I believe it could be becoz some files of FFXI cause the modem driver to stop working properly, files conflict or whatever. The problem may come back i'm not sure but at least i'm one step nearer to understand that it has got something to do wif FFXI and how to solve it.


        I've have my com for 7months and ntg of this sort happen till i installed FFXI. After formatting it, and after instal FFXI, it happened again...
