annoying Antivirus

I want to know how to deactivate the auto-update for my Norton antivirus. Every times it announce me that the update was succesfull, my POL crash because the update window get priority.
I've tried to deactivate the antivirus(not too safe), but the update is independant.

Open Norton Antivirus. Click on the Options tab at the top. Click on the Live Updade tab under the Internet heading. That should do it. Also if you want to change the check for updates scedule you can go to Scan for Viruses, and at the bottom click Scedule. Hope that does it for you.
