The PC I have right now is a Sony VAIO PCV-RZ22G:
2.4GHz
1G PC-2700 333MHz DDR Ram
533MHz Front Side Bus
nVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440
The scores I'm getting on the benchmark are pretty low, about 1900 on high resolution, and I'm wondering if spending 300 bucks on a Radeon 9800Pro will really make a noticeable difference? Or even a 9600Pro or 9600XT? FFXI seems to run decently right now, but when the weather effects kick in it can start to stutter badly.
