Radeon 9600/9600 PRO

Is there a big difference between these two cards, as i don't know if i've got the money to buy the PRO, only the non-pro, and how good are these cards anyway?? Thanks

Just say away from the "SE" line of cards... they have a 64-bit memory bus as opposed to a 128-bit bus and will hinder performance by quite a bit...... the difference between a pro and a non-pro card is only in the GPU and memory clock speed with the latter being a bit slower.

ye thx but is there a noticable difference between the 9600 and the 9600 PRO?? Thats really what i meant to ask.

Most definatley. And for the love of god, dont buy SE (as it was said), especially in "high" end cards, like 9800's where they halve the number of pipelines. Its very misleading for the consumer (SE sounds like a good thing!)

Buy a PRO, they are alot better, in fact, Buy an XT (Free HL2!) and higher clock speeds, barely more expensive also.
