Will my comp run XI?

Ok, haven't ever had a problem like this with my computer.. I'm running on a laptop and here are the specs:

AMD Athlon XP 1500+
1.33 Ghz
256 DDR RAM
20 GB HD

Here's where the problem might be.. the graphics card is:

SiS 650_651_M650_740 64MB


I've downloaded the benchmark from the website and it runs with a playable rate, 2700-3500. But the video isn't running smoothly.. things are flickering and it's not always showing things correctly. I don't really know why this is happening because I've run practically ever other game (most recently NWN: SoU expansion) without a flaw.

I'd like response from people that are more educated than I in these matters. I'm just wondering if it will work on my comp. I want to buy the game.. but the bench just scared me.

I'm sure it would run, maybe flicker like you said. But dunno. Can only buy and try. If not then you could always buy a video card.

Well, I just purchased the game on ebay and should have it in a few days or so. Once I actually have the game are there recommended settings to make it easier for your computer?

I know I'm going to put it on low res, but any other tips?
