Okay, I am pissed off at this thing! My ati radeon 9600 pro is scoring scores of 3000 barely on high res. What the hell is going on?!?! Here are my specs

    P4P800 Deluxe
PC3200 GEil DDR ram running dual channel 2 X 512
    P4 2.4 processor
80 gig ide hdd..using 21 gigs of it.
Win XP Pro - Havent done any of that 'tweaking stuff'.

Okay the core clock on this thing is 390 wtf? and the mem is 297.

I am really pissed as of now...seeing that ppl are getting higher scores with weaker cards than mine and i'm all envious and junk. Help!

i get a 3000 on my 1.6 mhz P3 9600 PRO with 1/2 your ram. get the new driver for your VC if u have yet to do that (it raised my score by 300). and try overclocking to a core speed of 425. i've got my card overclocked to 450 but that's my computer and i'm not sure if u want to take that risk. but the 9600 PRO does rock. before i get the VC i was getting 1600 on low rez and after i got the card i'm getting 4000+. but don't let it get to u that u don't get 4500+ on high rez. the game looks great and runs better on my computer and u have a better computer then me. just have fun with this great game.

Anything ever come of this? I'd like to know because I have:

      AthlonXP T-bred B 2600+
      Radeon 9600 Pro
      768 MB DDR 2700
      XP Pro etc etc

      High Res: 2200

My Ti4200 was scoring well into the 3000 range

I'm sorry bro, i have found no clarity on this. I still get the "barely near 3000 on high res", but the game runs smooth and sexy so no major complaints from me. (Although it would be nice to rock the benchmarks )

          intel P4 2.66ghz
          333mhz DDR 512 ram
          150gig hdd
          Ati Radeon 9600 pro

3655 in high res, personally i think that is kind of weak.

first, is it ati made, or a third-party company?
second, get teh catalyst 3.7 (or 3.9) drivers because the 3.8 had a problem with some games...
then you should upgrade to dx9.0b (might have some glitches, but a dx9 card should have dx9 after all:sweat: )
fourth, if you still have problems, post exact specs of your comp (drivers/config since these may kill your pproformance)

            after that, have fun

btw, i though 9600 pro was at least 400mh ramdac....

I built a rig for my friend for $350, here are the specs:

              Amd Athlon XP 1600+ (1.4ghz)
              Crucial/Micron PC2100 DDR 512MB
              Shuttle KT266A motherboard
              Western Digital 120GB SE 7200rpm 8mbcache
              Radeon 9100 64mb (250core/500mem)
              Antec 300watt power supply
              Lite-on 52x32x52x burner

He gets a score of 2880 in high res ^.~

here's a few things I did, I disabled alot of things on the motherboard most ppl and he will never use. Parallelport, Serial port, Gameport. And more importantly I changed his ram timings to 2-2-2-6t.
