  • 9600 Gamebuster or Ati 9600 pro?

I seek council from the wise video card lords....what should i get (keep in mind the game is here...looking at me -mocking my tnt2-) the gamebuster 9600 np, the ati radeon 9600 pro, the sapphire 9600 pro or the 9700 np? Can anyone tell me about the trueform that ati comes with, because I could help but notice that sapphire doesn't include this!

I am sad, I will not be able to play until thursday...I think.
    Ithica is gone ._.

get a 9600pro, any 9600 non pro is not worth it. as for brand, just get whatever is cheaper, the ATI refrence card is good, but sapphire is what most OC'ers get, cause its cheap. (actually any real OC'er/enthusiest will get a 9800pro but you seem to be not interested)... as for trueform, all Radeon 9600pros will have them... anything manufacture with the reference card as the model will have it.

trust me 9600pros have it. Just don't buy a non pro. as for 9700 np, some people have bought them and were able to unlock them to pros, they have all 8 render pipelines as aposed to the 9600pros 4. I wouldnt get the 9700NP if i were you, mainly cause you don't know much about this, not to insult you or anything but you should do research b4 you even think about it.

but if you really want the 9800 pro is only 305 at newegg.com

Just make sure your motherboard can support 8x agp, OR the video card you get can support x4 agp if your mobo doesnt support 8x. here is the one i bought for my dad.

    I suggest that one.
