  • Questions about Hypersnap

I just downloaded Hypersnap so that when I get FFXI, I can take some nice screens (not the small ones that you get when using the game's screenshot system). However, I'm trying it out and since I only have the demo version, there are logos for Hypersnap in the upper left, middle, and bottom right of my picture. How can I get rid of these?

Also, whenever I take a picture it replaces the one that I had there previously, how can I change the capture settings so I can take many pictures without having to stop to save each one individually?

    Thank you!

In order to have the full version of the program you have to buy the registered one or "find" it on the net.

If you mess with the capture settings you can get it to work the way you want to. It's a very flexible program.

Yeah Clipper's nice, it lets you do the GIF thing (GIF ARE BAD QUALITY, AVOID)

The thing I like about Hypersnap is it's functionality. It can save to various formats, specific screens, area, set timer, etc. I always save these to BMP files. JPEG Compression screws the actual Screenshots, even if they're 72/96dpi.

I use HyperSnap DX. It's nice. And I just learned about Clipper a while back. It's a free screenshot capturer and a good one too.

                Alright, one last question...
Has anyone tried using Clipper with FFXI. I tried it out while playing Ragnarok, and when I took the picture it minimized Ragnarok and returned to my desktop. Can I change the settings so this won't happen, or more importantly if I use this with FFXI will it minimize FFXI every time I take a picture.
                Thanks for the help everyone.

when I have the prog. open and I take a screen it never works (at least in game). If im just on my desktop, then it works fine.

                      help?

Very nice program. Too bad Hypersnap, I have found a replacement!
