I just bought a saphire radeon pro 9600 video card. I have 1.6 ghz p4 512k cache, with 1gb mem, and an asus motherboard with an dagp slot of 4x. My video card supports x8 AGP. What would be a better upgrade. A faster proccesor or a new motherboard? Or something else? I ran the benchmark and on low res i got 2900, on high res i got 2390. From what I'm seeing that doesn't seem to be very good. Please help me!!! Thanx for your time....

OK 4x and 8x Have no difference other than one is 8 and one is 4 hahah. There is no preformence gain from 4 to 8
Second its your CPU holding you back.
Goto ASUS' website to find out how high of a CPU your mobo can support. Buy what you can afford CPU wise:spin:

Cleaning up alot of the crap on your hdd will help, make sure you defrag also.
Also, to incrase bootup time, make sure you only have programs you want to start up.-Baka Inu!
