Ok heres the thing, I want to reformat this HD well I cant seem to get it to boot from the CD-Rom. I have no idea why it wont boot from the CD-Rom. I have set the CD-Rom to boot 1st in bios an everything. I'm just lost on what to do... I know this CD works an everything I have used it many times... If you can help me or have anything to ask bout it thanks

Is it windowsXP?
Double check everything,
Make sure you CDrom drive is pluged into your motherboard.

try one last time report anything strange.

Same thing, ok you know when you boot up your PC an it does the mem test an everything, then the next screen where it "should" let you "boot from cd hit any key" then the next screen is to pick your OS. Well it goes to the "boot from cd hit any key" for maybe one sec, then it goes to pick your OS. I know that you can boot from this cd. I have formated with this same cd manytimes before.... an yes its Win XP Por
