Will my computer will be good for ffxi ?

sorry for the question, i know you guys are already tired of hearing this question but will my pc be able to run ffxi? and how much good it will be?
my specs are:
OS: Windows XP
CPU: Intel Pentium IV 2.4 ghz
RAM: 256 MB
Video Card: Riva Tnt 2 (yeah i know this one suxs)

I know i will have to buy a new video card, but will ti 4200 be enough to play the game nicely, or i will need one better like fx 5600 ?

Everything sounds okay to me. Your computer is just right with the exception of the video card thing. The video card is your decision. Both will run it, depends on what you want. I got a FX5600, and I love how it runs FFXI. You can check out the old topic I made here, and see how good FFXI looks with it. More ram is needed, or you will start using your slow hard drive for memory. 768 mb total if you're getting the ti 4200 or better.

id like to know if i can play at full settings with these specs.

512 MB of RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB DX9 380MHz 128MB 256-bit >340MHz 21.8GB/s.
Avance AC97 (dont know if thats good/bad)
