I just got settled into my dorm room and hooked up my PS2 to find that I cannot go online.
When you hook up your PC to the school's network and open your browser for the first time, they make you register your PC on their network.
But of course I cannot do their thing through the PS2. Does anyone know a way around this? In our room we have a switch set up with 2 PCs (WinXP) and a PS2. Maybe internet connection sharing?
When I try FFXI beta it just just hung up at "Checking PlayOnline Viewer Version" then gives error: POL-1160
I haven't tried any other online games though
I did run the network adapter setup disk and set up a new connection. It said I was online but it could not connect to the SCEA Consumer Services or something like that
