Is there any way i can hook my PS2 up to my computer monitor?

Yes you get, if you buy a TV Tuner card, either external or internal. Installing the software that came with it, and then hooking up your PS2 to it, you can play all your games on your computer monitor. With most Tuner programs you can even take screenshots as well, and with a TV Tuner you can also hook up a DVD player, VCR, or even a Video Camera to your computer as well!

yes, compUSA will have them...i recommend a external Tuner, since they are easier to install and also if you want ot take it over to a friends house that is simple as well.

You could just get a cheese box, which gives your monitor the right plug in's that your ps2 needs to use it as a television subsitute.
Depending on the quality of the cheese box, or I think the "scientific" term for it is vga box, it'll cost more or less. But the more expensive ones come with options for component video, which I don't think you need.
Last place I saw selling them for pretty cheap was at my local Gamestop. Pretty sure any major electronics store sells them too.But I, being poor have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; tread softly because you tread over my dreams.Comment

i was wondering about this also. but ive got a shoddy monitor ATM and i was wondering if there are any decent PC monitors out there that have an S-video input (so i can hook up the PS2 directly)?:confused:Comment

Well, CompUSA told me that with the TV tuner, the sound will not come in too well, also, Gamestop told me that VGA Boxes dont work to well either. So im going with the VGA box so i wont have to install anything, But I wana know how you get sound with the VGA box?Comment
