    A while ago, EVA was made into a Japanese live-action film. You can get it on the Renewal of Evangelion box set, which I believe hits japanese stores this month.

    Plenty of shows eventually recieve a live-action rendition. Golgo 13, Dragonball, 3x3 Eyes, and Ranma 1/2 are among the thousands of anime which have been liscenced into live-action features of series.

    On a somewhat related note, the new Sailor Moon TV series will be live-action.
