i liked all of them (except for matriculated), but for some reason i especially liked beyond. it was so surreal, especially when yoko was watching the bird fly by in slow motion. everytime that part came up i could feel this little part in the back of my brain "tingle".

My favorite's were "Kid's Story" then "World Record", im going to have to give insane props to Watnanabe for choosing to go with a non-anime style look for kids story, and for the producer; for finding awesome talent at Madhouse for the production of World Record. The DVD is a great display of the new and exanding possibilitie's of animation. In Game Name Maximillian

I finally got the Dvd from my friend and watched them staright through, i thought they were so-so and nothing special. The one history of how the robots destroy humans kinda reminded me of Metropolis. Some cool action scenes but thats about it.you are here alone again, in your sweet insanity
all to calm, you hide yourself from reality
do you call it solitude? do you call it liberty?
when all the world turns away to leave you lonely

HI! I'm PJ. This place looks pretty swell. Hopefully I'll get the beta soon, but I'm not sure...
Anyways World Record is definately my favorite. I liked how it focused on one idea and the animation was neat.
Second Renaisance irritated the poo outta me! There is NO way we would make those ridiculous political decisions and even ridiculouser military decisions! I know I know, suspension of belief or whatever...
But the cool part about those two shorts is that the first one made me feel bad for the robots, and part two made me HATE the robots! (we definately would beat an enemy robot race tho... no question about that)
