I spent the better part of 3 hours today trying to figure out the name of an Anime I had only seen a few episodes of some... 10 years ago. I didn't remember the names of any of the characters, the anime itself... nothing. I and my friend Tony scoured the internet to try and figure it out. All I had to go on were the following details that I could remember:
- Post apocalyptic-looking world (similar to Trigun).
- The main character's arm transformed into some kind of claw-like weapon (I remembered it being red).
- There was a dune buggy they drove around in a lot.
- Lots of prismatic colors all the time.
- I loved the opening song (the tune/words/title of which I could not remember)
- Aired in the US (on idk what station) in the late 90s/early 2000s
Yep... my Google search took forever and a day... but eventually I found it. Anyone care to wager a guess based on that information? (I'll post what it was after a few guesses come in... i'm curious what you think)
As for making this a thread: I figure in the future, anyone who has the same kind of trouble I did remembering 1 anime or another can come here to ask for help from our combined knowledge of what's out there.
